Employers Group

Employers Group has been awarded $1.2M from the State of California, Employment Training Panel - ETP - to train up to 1,320 trainees for member companies throughout California. Training under this funding stream can begin in June 2007; however, all training must be completed by March 1, 2009.

The Program Provides:

  • Employer-specific training in non-compliance training topics
  • Ability to train employees in anywhere from 24 to 120 hours of training
  • Enhanced employer eligibility
  • Streamlined requirements and “no hassle” administration by Employers Group


Participating is Easy:

1. Eligibility - Determine if your company is eligible by completing the determination questionnaire.

2. Schedule Training - Once approved, simply select a group or groups of eligible employees and Employers Group will schedule and deliver anywhere from 24 hours to 120 hours of training to each group of employees. View available training topics and sample curricula.

3. Complete Training - Trainees must complete all of the training hours assigned to them, must be employed full-time 90-days before, during and 90-days after training is completed and must earn a minimum wage standard of $12.38 to $13.51 depending on county 90-days after training ends.
