Survey Description & Categories

An Organizational Culture Survey measures the extent to which behaviors, attitudes and norms that comprise a culture are present in an organization. Employees are asked to respond based on what they believe most people within the organization would think or do in a given situation by indicating if they feel most of the employee population would agree with/encourage or disagree with/discourage statements organized into eight of a possible fourteen categories:

  1. Organizational/Personal Pride
  2. Performance/Excellence
  3. Teamwork
  4. Communication
  5. Leadership/Supervision
  6. Profitability/Cost Effectiveness
  7. Colleage/Associate Relations
  8. Customer/Client Relations
  9. Innovativeness/Creativity
  10. Training/Development
  11. Candor/Openness
  12. Safety Orientation
  13. Diversity/Sensitivity
  14. Internal Customer Service

In addition to multiple-choice questions for each category, employees are asked to provide open-ended comments specific to each category as well.
