State Funded Training

A rapidly growing wholesaler was unable to keep up with training and development of its expanding work force.  Internal problems related to the rapid promotion of unqualified leaders caused significant challenges.  A lack of communication and coordination was prevalent.  Continued expansion was questionable.  Additionally, the leadership problems were prevalent at all levels, but were different for many of the individuals.  The company had not considered investing money into training and was still more pre-occupied with continued sales growth.

EG developed a cafeteria style leadership skills academy that encompassed all the needs, challenges and skill levels of the supervisors and managers.  Further, this was accomplished through state funding, meaning that the net cost to the organization for the training was close to zero.  Deeply involved high-level facilitators, specially selected curriculum and intensive oversight of the program all helped contribute to complete success and close to 100% attendance for all the classes.
