Employers Group designed the statewide “California’s Best Places to Work” program to identify organizations that excel in creating positive and rewarding workplaces through leading-edge employee benefits and human resources best practices. The program affords participating organizations an opportunity to identify and quantify their organizational strengths and weaknesses relative to their work environments, and provides valuable insight for making organizational improvements.

Through a comprehensive, two-part employer and employee assessment process, Employers Group researches and identifies three companies from each company-size category as “California’s Best Places to Work:”

Small companies (25 - 99 employees) –Three winners selected
Medium companies (100 - 499 employees) –Three winners selected
Large companies (500+ employees) –Three winners selected

All program participants receive a final Score Report, detailing their company scores and ranking among participating companies with the same employee size category.

Participants from prior years’ program can also compare their Score Report to past results for insight into improvement. Additional reports are available by request to gain more in-depth information.
